Electrical Estimator
Location: Exeter | Department: Estimating | Reports to: Estimating Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our Estimating team in Exeter. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting the successful delivery of projects. This is a key role that combines technical expertise with commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical building services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop competitive bids.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
  • Support design and build tenders with budget plans and plant sizing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and documentation standards.
  • Assist with project handovers and attend client and internal meetings.
  • Contribute to improving estimating tools, systems, and processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and building services systems.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent numerical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
