About the role UGL are experiencing growth across several sectors including Data Centres, Utilities, New Energy and Roads. We are now seeking to expand our team and find an Electrical Estimator ready to take their next challenge. The role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne About the role · Manage the estimating process, by contributing to and bringing together the pricing, documentation and stakeholders/ consultants, vendors and partner input. · Coordinate & manage estimate inputs from proposal stakeholders, internal and external SMEs, vendors, subcontractors, designers, consultants etc. as required · Ensure the tender process including is correctly followed and when requested conduct peer reviews on estimates. · Assist in the development of all suitable procedures, templates and checklists for the Estimating function. · Attendance all Gate reviews and Project Reviews as required. About you · Relevant tertiary qualifications · Experience in an estimating role for the electrical/mechanical scope; ideally within an engineering/ building services/ infrastructure environment · Experience across critical infrastructure projects such as Data Centres, Building Services, Utilities or Renewables. · Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally · An attitude of ‘getting things done”.
