Responsibilities

Gyptech is seeking an Electrical Fabrication Coordinator, reporting to the Fabrication Manager. Your role will involve:

  • Developing plans and schedules for panel fabrication projects, considering deadlines and client requirements.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure panels are fabricated and machines are pre-wired according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensuring timely ordering of necessary materials and components for panel fabrication and machine wiring while taking availability and cost in consideration.
  • Implementing quality assurance processes to verify panels meet electrical codes, safety standards, and client expectations.
  • Maintaining detailed records of panel fabrication, machine wiring and testing documentation.
  • Addressing any issues that arise during fabrication, ensuring timely resolutions to keep projects on track.
  • Serving as a point of contact for Project Management and Electrical Design teams, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Providing guidance and support to fabrication team and external contractors to ensure efficient and effective production.

This position will require regular local and international travel to visit shops in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
