Description
Scope of Work: This position will oversee the management of project installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial and industrial electrical industry. Responsibilities: Demonstrate the ability to run medium to large-size projects effectively. Consistently complete projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner. Supervise and direct field personnel, typically overseeing a team of 25+ employees. Establish performance goals and motivate crews to consistently meet or exceed goals. Accountable for the on-site management and safety of assigned construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, time, and quality standards. Address and resolve conflicts related to construction activities and personnel issues. Coordinate field installations and project close-outs, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Review project documents, plans, and specifications to direct construction activities accurately. Complete basic paperwork (e.g., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, time cards) in a timely manner. Effectively manage resources (tools, equipment, staffing) within the crew. Read and understand estimates, with the assistance of project management or superintendent, as part of the installation and layout of a project. Report to the Field Supervisor, General Superintendent, or Project Manager. Interact with other field personnel and support staff, including Estimating, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate services. Engage with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in project-related activities. Maintain required licensing and training requirements. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. WHAT YOU OFFER EDUCATION: High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience. EXPERIENCE: Six or more years of experience and meets position requirements.
