ELECTRICAL FOREMAN (COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL) – REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONALITY FIT:

  • Prior experience installing switchboards, generators and UPS systems including their associated feeders
  • Prior experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects (data center, hospital, airport, energy projects)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug test and background check prior to start date

Responsibilities

You will work directly with the electrical crew as an on-site Foreman on a HUGE ground up commercial building project with several facilities and a second phase remodel project – multi-year project.

  • Oversee and direct a crew up to 8 – 10 commercial electricians including quality control of their work, supervision, time card approval and daily management duties
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts
  • Layout Electrical Rooms and install Large Switchgear, Panels, Generators and Transformers
  • Pre-plan large parallel feeder conduit routings for overhead and underground
  • Pre-Plan, layout and install large UPS Systems and large Generators
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes and regulations
