Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site electrical activities in building construction projects. This includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical works within the UAE construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with DEWA, ADDC, or other local authority regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic project tracking tools.
  • Physical fitness to work on-site and supervise field operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Experience with MEP coordination and BMS systems.
  • Knowledge of green building standards (LEED, Estidama) is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians and helpers on construction sites.
  • Interpret and implement electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Oversee installation of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and other trades.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and components.
  • Maintain daily work logs, material usage reports, and manpower records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and ensure team productivity.
