POSITION SUMMARY:

MasTec Canada is currently recruiting for an Electrical Foreman to join its Industrial Division in support of building pumping stations near Lac la Biche, AB. This is a three (3) month camp based role , on a rotational schedule with 15 days on, 6 days off with an anticipated start date in early June 2025.
Responsible for supervising and coordinating daily activities for crew workers to install, and wire electrical components as per project drawings and specifications and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Five years’ experience/knowledge as Journeyman Electrician
• Two years’ experience as a qualified and competent General Foreman
• Proficiency in a practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada’s 6 Core Values
• Ability to identify and report hazards
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals
• In depth knowledge of procedures, equipment, regulations, and guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required
• Ambitious, pro-active, high-energy, positive attitude and a team player
