Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems. In this role, you will support the Airborne Systems business area developing airborne mission computers, sensor processing systems, and stores management systems, with opportunities to work across GDMS on other defense systems.
You will engage in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, routing constraints definition, PCB/PWB routing oversight, and support for assembly, integration, test, and qualification.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: designing electrical hardware using the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition or similar tools, high-speed digital and high-density circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, designs using fiber optic interfaces, and advanced working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers.
