Description W-Industries is currently seeking an Electrical Helper to support basic wiring and assembly work. This entry-level role is ideal for a reliable, safety-minded team member who’s comfortable with a voltmeter, basic drawings, and hand tools. Basic hand tools preferred. Requirements Use a voltmeter/multimeter to check for voltage and continuity (under supervision). Read basic electrical drawings (DWGs). Perform simple wiring/assembly tasks and organize parts, tools, and work areas. Help with pre-test checks (labels, torque marks, visual inspections). Follow safety procedures and instructions; communicate clearly with the team. Required Skills & Competencies Can safely use a voltmeter/multimeter. Basic ability to read DWGs/schematics. Own basic hand tools (drivers, strippers, crimpers, etc.). Electrical/wiring background (school, previous job, or hands-on experience). Willing to work overtime when needed. Speak and read English (follow written instructions, complete checklists). Comfortable around live voltage and willing to follow PPE/lockout rules. Required Experience & Education 0-1 years of experience working as an electrical helper. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Physical Requirements Must be able to communicate effectively with the team and supervisor in English for safety and efficiency. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders. Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas. Ability to distinguish colors.
