Description

You are an experienced Electrical HV/MV Project Manager looking to join a leading engineering and construction companies Power Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through commissioning and handover based out of Co Kildare/ Co Dublin.
You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive projects that are critical to the development of energy infrastructure.

YOU WILL MANAGE HV/MV PROJECTS, INCLUDING:

  • Design and construction of new substations and grid connections for renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms.
  • Upgrades to existing substations and national grid assets.
  • Development of new substations and grid connections for data center projects.
  • Design and construction of overhead power lines.
  • Installation of underground power cables.
    This role is also open to an experienced Senior Electrical Engineers seeking an opportunity to advance their career into a Project Manager position, with full support and development provided to ensure a successful transition.

HV/MV PROJECT MANAGER SKILLS:

  • Lead project delivery from initial work winning through to commissioning and handover.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and key stakeholders like EirGrid and ESBN.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards across all projects.
  • Oversee project design management, ensuring alignment with EirGrid/ESBN parameters.
  • Manage procurement and logistics for major equipment.
  • Plan, program, and resource projects to achieve milestones within budget.
  • Handle commercial and contract management, ensuring project profitability.
  • Drive QA/QC processes and lead commissioning efforts to meet client specifications.
