JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team for residential villa projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of electrical inspection experience, including at least 5 years working with engineering consultancies in the UAE.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a consultancy environment.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Proven experience in villa or low-rise residential projects in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure all electrical installations and materials comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Review and verify contractor’s work, method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations and other UAE authority standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide daily site reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical issues on-site.
• Inspect installations including lighting, power, earthing, panel boards, cable trays, and other villa-specific electrical systems.
• Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards.
