Position Summary: JMT is currently seeking an Electrical Construction Inspector to carry out Construction Management and Inspection Services in the Pittsburgh, PA region. Projects may include public housing, education, airport, rail/transportation and/or other public building projects.  Experience should include inspection of various building systems and/or electrical equipment/systems such as electric motors, power distribution, emergency generators, electrical switchgear, distribution panels, fire alarm systems, disconnect switches, conduit, wiring, and HVAC controls/building management systems (BMS). Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Read and interpret plans and specs and prepare written contract administration documentation such as daily narratives (work reports), special inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work * Identify potential extra work issues and keep the Resident Engineer/PM advised of potential issues * Prepare estimates of extra work and related sketches and documentation  * Review plans for constructability and prepare comments * Review contractor payment requests and provide comments to the Resident Engineer/PM
