Electrical Installation Lecturer

• Location: West London
• Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
• Hourly Rate: £35 to £50 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Levels 1 and 2 Electrical Installation courses. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the electrical industry and a passion for teaching and developing future professionals.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures on Electrical Installation for Levels 1 & 2.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through both practical and theoretical assessments.
• Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the courses offered.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, EAL) (NVQ Diploma or equivalent).
• AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) – widely expected as proof of occupational competence.
• Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g., 2391).
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a related field.
• Willingness to gain (or already hold) a teaching qualification.
• CAVA (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) is desirable.
