Are you a seasoned Electrical Installation Manager with a drive to deliver excellence in renewable energy projects?
Our client is seeking a hands-on leader to head up their Electrical Installation Teams, ensuring the seamless design, planning, and execution of solar PV, battery storage, and ASHP systems.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 2)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing (2391-52)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation) (2357) OR City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker (Installation) (2346-03) + AM2E

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 10 years electrical installation experience
  • Minimum 1 year managing electrical installation teams
  • 3 years in renewable energy system design & installation
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This integral position requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver high-quality, compliant installations on time and within budget. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies is essential. The successful candidate will oversee every stage of the electrical process while mentoring their team to achieve excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Leadership: Oversee electrical designs, ensure compliance with BS7671, G98, G99, and MCS standards, and approve all installations.
  • Project Management: Control budgets and schedules, collaborating closely with other departments for smooth delivery.
  • Quality & Safety: Maintain rigorous quality control procedures and uphold a strong safety culture.
  • Team Development: Lead and inspire electrical engineers and apprentices, promoting a culture of safety, learning, and collaboration.
  • On-Site Expertise: Conduct surveys, manage materials, and sign off completed works.
