Description:

Ledwood are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager to join our team based in Pembrokeshire.

The company operates as a fabricator, construction contractor, or installer throughout the UK and Europe. PROJECT SPECIFICS

The position is a permenant role, initially based on a local site to Pembrokeshire, upon completion in Spring 2025, then position will be in our Head Office. Travelling to sites within the UK may be required to suit the needs of our business.
This role will report into the Project Manager.
Working Hours: Initially 44 hours per week Monday to Friday (Based on a 38 hour basic contract week), with the potential to increase hours to suit the project requirements.
Rate of Pay: Depending on experience, this will be discussed with each applicant.
At this time we are not able to pay any relocation fees. Preferably the candidate will be based in South Wales.
Must be eligible to work in the U.K and subject to acceptance/ approval of the DBS Security Clearance (Disclosure & Barring Service Check).

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the safe execution of project and site/construction implementation within the E&I remit.
Manage the construction implementation of E&I works in full compliance with Safety, Cost and Schedule, QA & QC etc.
Manage the Pre-Construction Planning, Procurement and Execution strategy of E&I Works.
Managing the manpower and resources planning and mobilisation allocation of E&I personnel
Driving a Construction & Commissioning project strategy
Managing the Procurement, Tender Evaluation and Selection of sub-contractors and follow through the implementation, forecasting and contract closeout for E&I contracts.
Manage the QA Procedure and QC Compliance in implementation
Managing and tracking of procurement, especially long lead items as well as bulk materials procurement and timely delivery
Ensure the full implementation of Safety Procedures and Requirement
Ensure construction organisation is adequate, that staff at all levels understand their role and responsibilities and that effective delegation takes place.
Assist with and co-ordinate the project design and constructability.
Prepare technical and financial proposals with the Proposal Manager.
Work with field staff to resolve technical and constructability issues.
Prepare and administrate multiple subcontracts.
