The Opportunity CSL Behring is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Engineer to become part of the E&I team at Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation, you will manage a small team of E&I technicians in delivering safe, prompt, high quality and compliant maintenance to the broad range of customers at the Broadmeadows site. The Broadmeadows site is an expanding, supportive and challenging environment working for a world leading manufacturer of life saving medicines Responsibilities: Manage the deployment of your E&I resources to meet E&I maintenance KPI deliverables to budget and timeline targets, major part of this will cover calibrations for the GMP instruments. Manage the configuration and calibration of instruments and electrical systems. Prepare job packs, including isolation procedures on P&IDs for calibration and maintenance works by the relevant trades. Management of calibration and Maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment for manufacturing plants in a safe and compliant manner Providing technical advice and dealing with escalations including assisting with fault finding and detailed problems solving Coordination with daily work allocation, reactive and proactive Forming close relationships with multiple groups on site including customers and various support functions Your skills and experience: Degree in Engineering, preferably Instrumentation or Electrical. (Essential) Additional trades background is desirable (Electrical and/or Instrumentation). Seasoned people manager with a proactive approach to form relationships with Technicians and various stakeholders (Essential) Enjoys a challenge and wants to drive continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment Experience in an operational environment (Pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG, oil & gas or similar environments) Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility would be an advantage. Experience with SAP plant maintenance, particularly in relation to calibration of instruments is highly desirable. High regard for safety and safe working practices, with the ability to lead a team through maintenance tasks safely. Experience in meeting schedule timelines, controlling of trades workload to manage schedule timelines is highly regarded. Exposure to a wide range of equipment (electrical and Instrumentation) i.e. temperature, pressure, flow, UV, conductivity or related instrumentation.
