Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in large-scale industrial environments such as manufacturing, steel, mining, or waste management facilities.
  • Proficiency in CAD, CMMS, and other engineering design tools.
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuator valves, and transmitters.
  • Ability to design and interpret circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, and cable routing.
  • Experience in PLC programming (Ladder Diagram) and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of pump alignment and health monitoring.
  • Expertise in preventive maintenance planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage contractors and technicians.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Work with and troubleshoot low-voltage AC single-phase and three-phase systems.
  • Identify and maintain optimal levels of electrical spare parts and drives to minimize downtime, including taking drive parameter backups.
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics, maintenance records, risk assessments, and standard procedures for troubleshooting and compliance purposes.
  • Manage generator control interfacing with grid power and coordinate preventive maintenance for medium and high-voltage systems (up to 22kV) with licensed professionals.
  • Assist technicians in troubleshooting various systems, including ACMV, CCTV, access control, PA systems, power, and lighting.
  • Monitor and manage electrical components, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Diagnose and address equipment faults, ensuring timely recording and reporting of maintenance activities.
  • Oversee service, repair, and equipment overhaul processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping (5S methodology) in maintenance workshops, stores, and work areas.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, project personnel, and relevant authorities regarding electrical and instrumentation matters.
