We are looking for a Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join our Opal Australian Paper business at the Maryvale paper mill. Reporting into our Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent, the main focus of this role will be to ensure that the planning for maintenance work is delivered in the most cost effective manner possible with a key focus on plant reliability.

This role will be responsible for:

• Planning and scheduling E&I maintenance across two of our paper machines
• Organising any external labour and materials needed to complete maintenance work
• Reviewing future workload and identifying and planning for work requiring longer lead times
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practice
• Reviewing maintenance KPIs and workflows, ensuring they are fit for purpose, and preparing maintenance reporting
• Focus on cost control related to labour, materials, tools and equipment
• Contributing to a positive safety culture and work environment at all times

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Demonstrated experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role
• Qualified electrical trade or Engineering Degree
• Well developed systems skills
• Ability to work productively with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
• A good track record of effectively managing costs
• Strong organisational skill
