Coeur Silvertip prioritizes safety, teamwork, career development and growth.  If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.  The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to work in a camp-based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation. Responsibilities: * Assists with electrical system installations, troubleshooting and repair as needed. Able to design electrical systems and circuits, as well as contributing to improved designs and processes; * Develops daily work plans including applicable permits and ensures communication of assigned work with personnel; * Ensures parts, equipment, materials, tools, procedures, technical documentation and drawings, are coordinated and managed;  * Ensures effective use of the work order system; * Assists in the preparation of department operating and capital budgets, forecasts, monthly cost analysis and reporting; * Promotes continuous improvement in methods/performance, employee safety and equipment; * Plan and schedule activities to maximize availability and reduce downtime; * Assists in the development of the Maintenance Management System; * Maintains records of electrical operations and operations; * Active role in hiring and evaluating employees; * Ensures a well-functioning Preventative Maintenance program of the electrical and control systems that drives improving reliability based on the criticality of the equipment; * Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules; * Assist with annual and quarterly budget review; * Heavy lifting, large cable pulls, 5kv testing and installations.; * Review & manage warehouse stock levels; * Underground mine experience; * Ability to prioritize site needs and act, accordingly, including callouts. Required Qualifications & Skills: * Valid Red Seal or interprovincial Journeyman Certificate as an Electrician/Instrumentation; * 10 years’ experience in the repair and troubleshooting of diverse electrical related equipment; * 5 years’ Supervisory experience; * Experience using a CMMS system; * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook; * Valid driver's license.
