About The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Electrical Supervisor and work on a 2:2 roster (day and night shift).
Your focus will be on maintaining fixed plant to ensure reliable operations in accordance with operational targets, statutory regulations, and company standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing electrical maintenance, inspections, and testing to meet standards, regulations, and site requirements.
  • Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks accurately and on time.
  • Using the maintenance management system (MMS) to schedule, report, and record work.
  • Conducting job safety analyses (JSAs) and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Supporting site safety by following company standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and reporting incidents.
  • Improving processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience, including exposure to fixed plant processing systems within the mining industry.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • A-grade Electrical Worker’s Licence.
  • Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation.
  • Certificate in High Voltage Switching Operations.
  • First aid certificate with Low Voltage Rescue and CPR.
  • Expertise in failure analysis and fault-finding.
  • High voltage switching and maintenance experience.
  • Current C-class manual driver’s licence.
