An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join Service Stream in our Southeast Water Project Team, based in Dandenong
About the Role
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Dandenong, Vic
Reporting Line: Mechanical/Electrical Manager

Reporting to the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Manager, as an Electrician / Instrumentation Technician you will:

• Lead with safety front of mind and be an advocate for our values Delivery, People and Accountability
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on various water and wastewater assets
• Response to and rectification of equipment failure
• Fault finding
• Basic maintenance tasks to remedy faults
• Installation and augmentation of assets/plant/installations
• Maintenance and Fault finding of assets/plant/installations
• Carry out Programmed Maintenance & capital, Installation work
• Respond to alarms to meet KPIs
• Commissioning and de-commissioning of assets/ plant /installations
• Provide technical support to engineering and client
• Maintenance job compliance and ensuring processes and procedures are followed to maintain a safe workplace

About You
You are experienced with inspection, testing, adjustment, and repairs of electrical plant equipment and working to a strict set of quality systems. You have excellent problem-solving skills, and you are known to provide solutions to technical issues efficiently and effectively.

You will also have:

• Trade qualification
• A grade electrical licence (required)
• Certificate IV Instrumentation (required)
• Construction White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Confined Space Trained (preferred)
• Working at Heights (preferred)
• First Aid (preferred)
