As a CBRE Electrical maintenance engineer, We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in diagnosing electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency in compliance with safety standards.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in electrical maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical License, OSHA training) are advantageous
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DAILY ACTIVITIES:

  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, lighting systems, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
  • Inspect and test electrical components for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth running of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation.
  • Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Provide emergency support for electrical failures outside normal working hours (if required).
