Engenharia Alentejo e Algarve department is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (preferably) in Electrical and Computer Engineering;
  • Up to 3 years’ experience (professional activity in Electrical Engineering);
  • Driving license and availability for travel (mandatory);
  • Availability to integrate assistance hours into the electrical network in case of unforeseen situations;
  • Enthusiasm for exploration and management of networks and energy systems;
  • Teamwork and collaboration in the workplace;
  • Critical awareness;
  • Good knowledge of English would be an asset,
  • More than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose.
Responsibilities
  • Accompanying and guiding a team in their daily duties,
  • Executing and monitoring preventive maintenance tasks (systematic, conditioned, and predictive) as outlined in the Plan and Budget,
  • Conducting inspections related to preventive maintenance (systematic, conditioned, and predictive),
  • Monitoring asset performance to identify signs of potential failure,
  • Developing proposals for the rehabilitation or replacement of assets in substations and cut-off stations,
  • Ensuring an appropriate response in emergency situations or system disturbances by locating and repairing faults in substations and cut-off stations, in coordination with the medium- and low-voltage asset service area (responsible for initial field intervention),
  • Carrying out small-scale investment projects and commissioning installations,
  • Coordinating, within their scope of operations, the implementation of necessary measures for environmental protection, workplace safety, and occupational health .
