Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a market-leading engineering company to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing Coventry Factory.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Coventry

Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 DOE + 20% Shift Allowance

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of specialist production equipment and site facilities. This position offers a varied workload, real autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute directly to operational success.

The Role

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of manufacturing and site infrastructure equipment. Working closely with production teams and fellow engineers, you will help minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support future engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Support equipment upgrades, engineering projects, and new installations
Coordinate and manage external contractors when required
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

A recognised electrical engineering qualification
Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities
A good mechanical understanding
Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management
A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A continuous improvement mindset
