Job Description We are seeking a skilled professional to provide expertise in the planning and implementation of electrical and mechanical maintenance for all building plant and machinery. This role involves the installation of equipment, test rigs, and mains services. Key responsibilities will include: Responding to planned and reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively Ensuring high standards of safety and durability in all tasks Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Participating in accident investigations and contribute to safety improvements Deliver electrical awareness training to relevant personnel Manage and maintain a computerised PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) system The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Extensive knowledge of electrical components, safety codes, and regulations Professional, technically proficient, and mechanically adept Skills in operating tools safely around electrical components If you are a motivated individual with the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position. Qualifications Education and Experience: 18th Edition wiring regulations – Essential Work based apprenticeship or vocational training Knowledge of national, state and local electrical codes and regulations Strong verbal and written communication skills Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions Essential: Wide experience of maintenance activities Expert knowledge on electrical and mechanical installations (and test rigs) Desirable: Skills and knowledge in other building trades IOSH / NEBOSH qualification Asbestos awareness/Legionella management training/Access platform & working at height Plumbing skills Additional Information Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.
