ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate (BS 7671).
Proven experience working with motors, relays, fault finding, sensors, belts, bearings, and chains.
Minimum of 2 years’ electrical engineering experience within the UK, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to operate in a multi-skilled capacity.
Flexibility to work a 3-shift rotation pattern (Days, Nights, and Afters).
Proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to professional standards and teamwork.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our established maintenance team. This is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias, ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities on a range of production machinery across our two sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undertake regular planned preventive maintenance (PPM), as well as prompt response to any breakdowns or urgent repairs.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate effectively with production teams to support the smooth and efficient running of all machinery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
