Job Details Job Location: Catawba Mill - Catawba, SC 29704 Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Less than 10% Job Category: Manufacturing ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all scheduled work, including emergency and non-routine, is complete. Ensure all work is performed according to precision maintenance standards. Participate in daily/weekly scheduling process to ensure timely completion of tasks. Coordinate with area leadership to manage overtime costs and assignments. Participate on weekend duty rotation and other off-hour work assignments. Assist with management of contractor assignments in your area of work. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and mentor team members Ensure adherence to all environmental, health, safety, and Company policies. Ensure all time and attendance procedures are followed. Assist department leadership with crew training and performance. Ensure adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Qualifications SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of maintenance experience in pulp and paper manufacturing. Strong maintenance background with demonstrated precision maintenance technical skills. Excellent leadership ability; must be able to work collaboratively across multiple functions. Good communication skills that facilitate trust-building and task-accomplishment Functional use of Microsoft Office products and maintenance systems. Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma (or equivalent). Ability to follow detailed instructions. Team-oriented and self-directed, can work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to withstand working in various temperature and weather conditions. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes overtime. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Comfortable working in a Union environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to both talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
