EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 2365
  • Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition
  • Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391)
  • Good multi skilled ability
  • Ability to fault find
  • Ability to supervise contractors
  • Able to write Risk and Method Statements
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • L8 legionella awareness
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings (red line), identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program
  • Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain equipment PPM’s
  • Fault finding on various tyres of equipment ranging from electrical distribution boards to domestic plumbing systems.
  • Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety
  • Provide Electrical and Mechanical knowledge & support to your immediate team
  • Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately
  • Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation
  • Work on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440V
  • Work on Domestic Plumbing Systems
  • Emergency light testing
  • First response to catering equipment faults
  • Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System
  • Use of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required
  • To work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to support site shutdowns. Shutdowns are typically spread across 8 singular days throughout the year.
  • Ability to work at height
  • Flexible to work occasional bank holidays excluding Xmas day and New years day
  • Perform adhoc duties as and when required
