Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

POSITION SUMMARY
Maintain the condition of the manufacturing equipment. Repair and/or replacement failed components, read and interpret programmable logic controllers and circuit analysis, and perform preventative maintenance measures when applicable. Troubleshoot unknown problems with the equipment and develop short and/or longer term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production maintenance environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience performing electrical maintenance on industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi products
- Have the ability to read and interrupt blue prints, schematic, and ladder logic
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production maintenance environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Should have some level of experience in the electrical/automation technician field
- Possess an understanding of electrical matters in a manufacturing setting
- Have knowledge and experience with electrical equipment: 480/230v 3ph, 110&24 vdc controls, prints and schematics
- Have the ability to read and interrupt blue prints, schematic, and ladder logic
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced team oriented environment
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree or a Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or related field
