Description Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair electric, diesel, and LP-powered industrial trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Inspect, repair, and adjust conveyor systems and related components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment. Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, sketches, and technical manuals. Disassemble equipment to access and replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes. Perform preventative maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and system inspections. Align, assemble, bolt, weld, and secure machinery and equipment to foundations or structures. Fabricate and repair components using arc and gas welding, brazing, and metalworking tools (drill press, grinder, etc.). Maintain organized work areas and comply with plant housekeeping standards. Adhere to ISO standards, quality policies, and established work procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. Required Qualifications Minimum one year of heavy industrial maintenance experience and completion of a two-year vocational/technical electrical maintenance program, OR completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program. Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, piping, and welding. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience repairing industrial lift trucks preferred. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and welding equipment. Licensing Requirements Licensed Electrician: Must possess a valid Minnesota electrician’s license. Unlicensed Electrician: Must successfully complete internal electrician competency examination. Requirements Physical Requirements Continuous standing and walking Frequent bending, crouching, and climbing ladders or stairs Ability to work overhead and in confined spaces Tolerance for temperature extremes Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in varying positions
