Description

Meade Farm Group, an award-winning Fresh Produce Company who operate from their state-of-the-art family farm based in Lobinstown, Co. Meath, are now recruiting an Electrician to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and installation of various types of equipment.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Possess relevant trade qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Commercial and industrial experience is essential.
  • Mechanical experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct wiring, installation and commissioning of plant equipment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to work from schematics and blueprints.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards including regulatory requirements when conducting duties.
  • As part of the Maintenance team, work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications.
  • Perform electro-mechanical troubleshooting of processing & packaging equipment
  • Responsible for high-speed repairs of equipment.
  • Maintain a high-level performance across the production team and take appropriate action where faults occur.
  • Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
  • Responsible for completion of your planned work, parts booked out of stores and control of breakdowns.
  • Observing all onsite and legislative rules and regulations regarding Food Safety and Health & Safety.
  • Candidates should be flexible regarding working hours. The role will require call out on a rotational basis.
