Description
Follow all safety procedures, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standards Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code NFPA70 Understanding of electrical one-line diagrams and the ability to perform feeder switching on electrical switchboards with redundant feeds Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment Provide effective and proficient responses to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure Identify and respond according to alarm conditions Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and enhance system stability Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment Experience interpreting & comprehending blueprint/CAD drawings. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations. Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, walk 1-5 miles per shift, bend, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and work with arms raised. 3+ years of experience as an Electrician within the Manufacturing Sector. 2+ years of maintenance experience 2+ years of electrical industrial, semiconductor, or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience 1+ years of experience in medium-voltage equipment construction, operation, and maintenance. Valid Electrical journeymen license
Responsibilities
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for following safety procedures and providing preventative maintenance on technical facilities equipment. They must respond effectively to restore equipment to service in the event of a system failure and maintain records on maintenance and testing.
