Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 day/night roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will execute electrical maintenance activities in compliance with work management systems, and the relevant safety and technical standards.
OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT AREN’T LIMITED TO:
- Undertake electrical works on PLC’s and SCADA systems with the ability to decipher PLC code to assist with fault finding.
- Undertake electrical works on fixed plant, mobile generation and non-process infrastructure, including maintenance through to commissioning of single & three phase AC machines and control gear, HV & LV motors, LV switchboards and associated sub circuits and equipment.
- Maintenance, design, installation, and commissioning of electrical apparatus associated with accommodation buildings, domestic housing, mess facilities and recreation areas.
- Analysing and solving electrical problems along with fault finding and repair.
