WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We are looking for experienced professionals with the following qualifications:

  • Diploma at MBO level 4 or MBO level 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Electrical & Instrumentation installations, measurement techniques and measuring instruments is an advantage
  • Experience in localizing, remedying and analysing, maintaining and recording E&I installations with maintenance work processes is an advantage
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations of low and high voltage installations
  • Knowledge of basic principles of instrumentation and control equipment, DCS & IPS and the applicable programs
  • Experience with maintenance and in controlling instrumentation, logic diagrams and control technology
  • Pneumatic instrumentation, functional skills, Maintenance Technician Instrumentation (OTI)/ Maintenance Technician Electrical Engineering- Instrumentation (OTEI)
  • Knowledge of Inspection requirements, measurement, regulation and testing techniques, test and calibration equipment and process automation, including PLC
  • Experience in oil & gas/petrochemical as well as, relevant experience with commissioning is plus
  • Candidate must be fluent in Dutch (speaking and writing)

Responsibilities

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the maintenance work in our factories in the day shift in safe and environmentally conscious way. Your work consists of analysing, localizing, remedying malfunctions in electrical and/or measuring and control equipment. Additionally, you will also do preventive maintenance.
In addition to working on maintenance, you aro also involved in supervising small projects and shutdowns. You are administratively responsible for maintaining and handling malfunction reports and other documentation. You make suggestions for improvement and keep drawing package up to date.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • Testing, inspecting, executing, (preventive) maintenance, repairing and assembling specialist installations in the field of electrical and/or instrumentation
  • Installing, testing, commissioning and maintaining systems, equipment and installations in oil & gas treatment plants. These systems take care of the distribution of energy & product power, transfer of information, communication and security. Examples of such systems are control cabinets, cables, lighting, telephone, data, fire protection, access security and process controls, measurement and control systems with associated process variables (process automation and/or control installations of the production process), instrumentation and calibration equipment calibrating, adjusting, overhauling and repairing and maintaining the customer’s process analysis equipment
  • The work is carried out based on work orders, procedures, standards, safety regulations, equipment documentation, quality procedures and strict guidelines and procedures as prescribed by law
  • The orders are received from the work preparation
  • The nature of the assignment may be in the field of (preventive) maintenance, repairs, (specialist) disassembly and assembly work, malfunctions, construction and commissioning
  • You regularly work on the basis of limited technical information. No equipment, documentation available but collecting information yourself in writing or orally

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

For these dynamic locations we are looking for experienced (Senior) Maintenance Technician E&I / Commissioning Counter. Your tasks/responsibilities are:

  • Received orders and technical data (including corresponding drawings and specifications)
  • Create simple or complex technical installation drawings/check documentation/update them
  • Checking whether the working environment and work to be carried out can be carried out safely and according to the quality standard
  • Collecting the necessary and additional relevant data such as drawings, flow sheets, application software, specifications and checking data of delivered materials
  • Advising and supporting Work Preparation for technically complicated calibration assignments for quotations, among other things
  • Ensure the timely delivery of the work. Locate and diagnose malfunctions of various kinds, as well as rectify them
  • Advising after diagnosis and proposing repair or recovery method and taking the initiative (within the agreements made) for special activities to engage (internal and external) specialists
  • Carrying out and/or supervising inspections, measurements and tests
  • Adjustment of equipment/installations. Performing an input check on new measuring instruments (e.g. pressure, level, flow transmitter), as well as checking the supplied documents (certificates, measurement data)
  • Calibrating the measuring instrument of existing installations and adjusting it if necessary
