Description
The Electrical Manufacturing Technician I supports the manufacturing team with activities such as assembly, testing, and supporting the troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical aerospace products. This role is expected to perform CCA / assembly level troubleshooting with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards, and contributing to production output. This is an entry level position intended to allow for an associate to become acquainted with the test / troubleshooting process with the expectation for future growth.   Key Responsibilities * Perform functional testing using standard test equipment and procedures * Identify defects and nonconformances and support basic troubleshooting and rework * Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic schematics * Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (ESD, FOD, workmanship) * Accurately complete production documentation and ensure traceability * Maintain workstation organization and support 5S and continuous improvement efforts * Support production flow and meet daily output and quality targets Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * 1–3 years of experience in electronic, electrical, or manufacturing assembly * Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and basic schematics * Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, or electronic assembly * Ability to use standard hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic test equipment (e.g., multimeter) * Proven attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards in a production environment Preferred Qualifications * Technical school or associate degree in electronics or related field * Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments * Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
