Description
Skillforce is hiring an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to build and assemble electrical and mechanical products at a manufacturing facility in the Richmond, VA area. This is hands-on production work — following blueprints and schematics, wiring components, and using your trade skills every shift. Pay: * $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience * Weekly pay * Overtime available Schedule: * Monday–Friday, day shift * Occasional extra hours based on production needs Responsibilities: * Assemble electrical and mechanical components following blueprints and schematics * Wire components and perform equipment hookups per specifications * Cut, bend, and thread pipe as part of assembly work * Apply carpentry and mechanical skills as needed on the production floor * Keep work area organized and document completed work accurately Qualifications: * 5–7 years of hands-on experience in 2 or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings * Working knowledge of the NEC * Proficient with hand and power tools * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Richmond, VA area * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits: * Weekly pay * Paid time off – vacation, holidays * Health, vision, dental insurance * Referral bonus program for skilled tradespeople * 401k Apply now with your updated resume — we respond to all qualified applicants promptly.
