We have an opportunity for an experienced OFCI (Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed) Electrical Manager on a major data centre project in Dublin.
In this role the expectation is to oversee the delivery, coordination, and installation of client-supplied electrical equipment on a major construction project. The OFCI Electrical Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders, and OFCI vendors, ensuring that all technical, scheduling, and quality expectations are met throughout the lifecycle of the package.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Confident technical and process lead comfortable in being the key interface with client appointed vendors and in discussing/escalating OFCI items with the Client and other relevant stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Manage the OFCI team to ensure that Works are engineered, planned and installed in accordance with project requirements.
  • Support engineering, programme and commissioning requirements through managing & liaising with Key Project Stakeholders
  • Ensure all Vendors equipment is coordinated with the construction requirements and project programme.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the client, OFCI Vendors and other relevant Stakeholders
  • Report on OFCI packages progress.
  • Escalate issues & risks for mitigation.
  • Mitigates contract disputes and provides oversight, guidance, and technical expertise.
  • Ensure client security and confidentiality is maintained at all times

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years’ experience working with a M&E Contractor
  • Qualified Electrical Engineer or similar is essential
  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving, leadership and decision making skills
  • Proficient in the use of systems software related to Engineering functions
  • Experience working on large scale projects is essential
