Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking an associate or experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer to support the Vertical Lift (VL) program Platform Systems team located in Mesa AZ.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and sustaining military systems and will have an electrical power background. The selected candidate will report to Electrical Power System team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
  • Designs hardware, software and interface specifications
  • Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
  • Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
  • Designing solutions to current and future products
  • Working with multiple teams to meet program goals
  • 10% travel as needed

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required
