QUALIFICATIONS:

• Provincial Journeyman Red Seal Certification in Electrical with a minimum of five progressive years of pipeline or terminal operating experience with competency working on Medium Voltage; Or Journeyman Power Systems Electrical Certification; Or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma;
• Experience with Siemens Medium Voltage VFD’s, protective relays, and SAP Maintenance Management is highly desirable and considered an asset;
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and other business-related computer programs and applications;
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
• Complete Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid would be an asset and will be provided as needed;
• Collaborative nature, with strong capabilities contributing to teams with proven success of positive interfacing with Field, Engineering, and Technical Support personnel;
• Demonstrate learning agility by actively seeking feedback, adapting to new information quickly, and applying learnings to improve performance and deliver results in a dynamic environment; and
• Continuously adapt to emerging technologies and evolving technical requirements by actively acquiring new skills, applying innovative solutions, and integrating feedback into daily problem-solving.

• Safely maintain electrical equipment;
• Thorough understanding of Single Line Diagrams for the effective isolation and lock out of equipment;
• Supervise contractors as required with a focus in the Medium Voltage space;
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all maintenance is completed to predetermined schedules;
• General Site and Facility upkeep and maintenance;
• Complete field inspections to ensure reliable dependable and efficient operations;
• Recommend improvements to Facility efficiency and optimization and follow through to completion utilizing assistance from Operations Engineering and being compliant with our MOC (Management of Change) process;
• Create notifications, enter material requests attach required documentation, ensuring complete Work Orders within SAP;
• Complete assignments safely, efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner by observing generally accepted company and industry safety practices;
• Assist in creating THA’s (Task Hazard Assessment) when required;
• Ensure duties are completed in accordance with Pembina’s procedures, regulatory requirements and industry best practice;
• Participate in an On Call rotation responding to after hour call outs due to equipment and/or operational problems; and
• Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
