Job Description In this critical role, you will assist the Preconstruction team preparing projects for handoff to the construction team to ensuring the resources and documents are coordinated and organized as per the scope presented. The ideal candidate will utilize an in depth understanding of Knobelsdorff processes and procedures to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and within budget. Responsibilities Experience with Project and Construction coordination, to include estimating, planning, scheduling, cost management, materials/purchasing, operations and maintenance. Knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures, and industry requirements. Assist the Preconstruction Manager with budget administration, analysis, forecasting and project performance evaluation. Assist with conducting historical analysis of projects of similar scope and size. Conduct a post project completion profitability analysis for record. Assist with analyzing subcontractor quotes, prepares construction documents, and administers regulatory requirements i.e. procuring project permits/bonds. Work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers and supervisors Lead design reviews through the project life cycle Work with Purchasing/Preconstruction/Construction/Estimating to review and approve equipment and material specifications Lead design and page-turn meetings as projects require Capture design improvements and ensures they are incorporated into future works Finalize Bill of Materials for material procurement. Review project scope requirements, and assist the development of plans, and overall project budget. Track and manage project deliverables, submittals, critical project timeline elements. Develop and implement project procedures, schedules, and standards in our project system. Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, specify and order materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinates project requirements to subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, construction managers, and others on the project team Assist and support with pre-construction preparation and coordination. Assists with the preparation of the pre-construction schedule, and creation of the turnover documents for the construction team Manage project files, drawings, documents and records in our project system. Assist with the design/preconstruction phase utilizing the application of software applications, and best practices. Create, prepare and coordinate: reports, trackers, deliverables, status reports, meeting minutes, and other materials as needed Qualifications Qualifications The requirements listed in job descriptions are guidelines, not fixed rules. A bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Competency in Microsoft applications included Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, and Procore. A knowledge of electrical, construction Required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
