Description
Lead process development and optimization for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing lines. Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design. Plan, design and construct manufacturing facilities and related structures. Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements. Analyze production and test data to identify yield-impacting issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with design and test engineers to improve manufacturability and reduce waste. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train production staff. Support continuous improvement initiatives using FMEA, RCCA, and PSP methodologies. Drive single-piece flow and ergonomic workstation design aligned with lean principles. Interface with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material sourcing. Participate in Kaizen events and apply visual management tools to enhance material and information flow. Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor preferred). Proficiency in tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel VBA, and SQL. [ Strong understanding of SPC, FMEA, and lean manufacturing techniques. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus. Must be able to interpret mechanical system and wiring diagrams. Hands-on lifecycle support or field service experience desired. Experienced with quality management systems. Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical testing. Experience with product lifecycle management tools and methodologies. Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS). Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Experience in instrumentation, semiconductor, or industrial automation industries. Knowledge of ERP systems and product data management tools. Experience working with global teams and suppliers. Lean or Six Sigma certification.
