Anduril is seeking an Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Sydney, Australia. The Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defence hardware for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). As an Technician, you will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to customers by working hands-on with the engineering team, building complex electromechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product! The right person for this role can demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment such as defence manufacturing, aircraft maintenance or advanced technology manufacturing environments. This person will be flexible to provide support wherever needed to ensure products are built and shipped under stringent quality standards. What You’ll Do Work as part of a multidisciplinary team assembling electrical systems for AUV integration Assemble, test, and integrate electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies Fabricate and install wire harnesses, soldier electronic modules (including PCBAs), and modify off-the-shelf components Perform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devices. Follow detailed electrical and manufacturing documentation to build to engineering specifications 5S work areas, perform part inspections, process work orders, and follow safety best practices Interact with MES / ERP systems for work order tracking, inventory management, and quality reporting Required Qualifications 3+ years working with electrical system assembly in relevant fields (Robotics, Defense, Control Systems) An understanding of the manufacturing life cycle from prototype to scale manufacturing Experience working off of technical documentation, including electrical schematics and engineering CAD drawings Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability to exceed expectations Ability to perform electrical debug including use of tools such as a digital multimeter, oscilloscope, etc. Very well organised and detail-oriented, excellent communication skills and takes pride in your work Eligibility to obtain a NV1 security clearance (status not required at time of hire) Preferred Qualifications Experience in mechatronics and robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment) Familiarity with electrical integration and test concepts Prior experience working with JIRA, Teamcenter (PLM), or NetSuite (ERP) or equivalents The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
