Electrical Production Worker Role The Electrical Production Worker assembles electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, sub-assemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. This position will report to the Production Supervisor and is located in Niles, Illinois. Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate electrical sub-assemblies per detailed instructions Wire custom control panels per detailed schematics Hard wire equipment per drawings Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions Continually improve processes to ensure safe, efficient, and quality driven practices are in place Maintain a clean and safe environment through a continued program of daily sweeping and general cleaning Requirements High School Diploma or GED and/or ten (10) + years of direct work experience without formal education Position typically expects three (3) to five (5) years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of the position Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to read electrical schematics Willing and able to work overtime as required Possess problem solving capabilities Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask Maintain composure in a fast-paced, stressful environment Mission focused with a sense of urgency when required Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment What We Offer Medical, dental and vision insurance – DAY ONE! 401 K- company match Profit Sharing and Employee Incentive Program Basic Life Insurance and other optional insurance coverages Short-term and long-term insurance paid by the company Healthcare spending accounts (HAS and FSA) 3 weeks plus of PTO, 9 Holidays and community service hours Gym Membership Reimbursement Tuition Reimbursement and MUCH MORE PiovanGroup is a world leader in the development and production of systems for the automation of production processes for the storage, transport and treatment of polymers, plastic, and food powders.
