Job Title Electrical Project Engineer - Apprentice Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Electrical Project Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on warehouse conveyor automation projects, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and systems. Key Responsibilities: Technical Learning: Quickly gain knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used in warehouse automation, including Siemens PLC Hardware, Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP, Serial, and ASi Networks. Engineering Support: Assist in creating detailed electrical drawings, including power calculations, cable calculations, tray systems, BOM (Bill of Materials), and power distribution. Design and Specification: Support the selection of switchgear, control cabinet design, and the specification of sensors and field cables. AutoCAD and E-Plan: Utilize AutoCAD and E-Plan for designing and documenting electrical systems. Project Management: Understand the project life cycle and assist in estimating, planning, and controlling the scope of work. Communication: Develop professional relationships with project counterparts across the world and communicate effectively within the team. Qualifications: Education: Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation. Technical Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and E-Plan, and good knowledge of power and control systems, including cabinets, sensors, and actuators will help Engineering Knowledge: Proficiency in detailed electrical drawings, power calculations, cable calculations, tray systems, BOM, and power distribution. Design Experience: Experience in switchgear selection, control cabinet design, and sensor and field cable selection will help Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, take ownership, and a strong drive to win and learn. Responsibilities
The Electrical Project Engineer Apprentice will assist in creating detailed electrical drawings and support the selection of switchgear and control cabinet design. They will also gain knowledge of electrical systems used in warehouse automation and assist in project management tasks.
