This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer with DM & DEWA approval for G + 4 to G+6 experience , the role will involve day-to-day tasks related to electrical engineering projects and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical System Design & Planning:

• Develop electrical designs for G+6 buildings, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, HVAC, and communication systems.
• Ensure the electrical design complies with DEWA, DM, and local safety standards.
• Coordinate electrical layouts with the architectural and structural teams to integrate systems effectively into the building’s design.

1. DEWA & DM Approval:

• Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and documentation for submission to DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) and DM (Dubai Municipality).
• Work closely with authorities to secure all necessary approvals for electrical installations.

1. Power Distribution & Load Calculations:

• Conduct load calculations and select appropriate equipment and systems to ensure adequate power distribution across the building.
• Design primary and secondary power distribution systems, ensuring that they meet the power needs of all floors, including common areas and individual units.

1. Coordination with Other Disciplines:

• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and civil teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other building infrastructure.
• Address any design conflicts between disciplines and resolve issues promptly.

1. Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Oversee the installation of electrical systems on-site for compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and DEWA/DM requirements.
• Inspect work to ensure the quality and accuracy of installations and perform regular inspections during the construction phase.
• Monitor site progress and ensure that electrical work is completed on time and within budget.

1. Testing, Commissioning, and Handover:

• Supervise the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and backup systems.
• Ensure that all systems are operational and meet the required safety and performance standards before handover.
• Work with the commissioning team to resolve any issues during the final stages of the project.

1. Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:

• Design energy-efficient electrical systems to minimize power consumption and reduce operating costs.
• Implement green building initiatives, such as LED lighting, solar energy systems, and energy management systems, in line with Dubai’s sustainability goals.

1. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning stages, troubleshooting any electrical issues that arise.
• Resolve problems related to electrical installations promptly and efficiently to avoid project delays.

1. Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical work on-site follows stringent safety protocols and local safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks to ensure electrical installations are safe for workers and future occupants.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical designs, installation processes, and any changes made during the project.

Prepare reports and provide progress updates to project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

1. Client Interaction & Liaison:

• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure electrical systems meet their needs.

Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of electrical installations and resolve any concerns promptly.
Qualifications

Key Requirements:

• DM & DEWA approved with G + 4 to G+6 experience
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
• Experience in project management and overseeing electrical projects
• Knowledge of Dubai-specific regulations and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing electrical systems for G+6 buildings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• DM /Dewa Approval (Preferred)
