Growing Chicago based firm looking to add a talented Electrical Project Engineer to their team! Responsibilities: Projects include the study/design of roadway and site lighting, traffic signals for State/municipal clients and ITS improvements for public agencies Design pump station electrical systems, generator sizing and site electrical improvements Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates and preliminary studies Supervise/mentor other staff on larger projects Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects Review and check engineering work completed by staff Build/maintain client relationships Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering 7+ years of experience PE License or ability to obtain in two years Proficient in MicroStation Experience with IDOT/Illinois Tollway projects preferred CDOT/INDOT experience preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
