Description

KEY SKILLS

  • Proven electrical project experience in manufacturing or similar sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of LV systems, PLCs, VSDs, and safety regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualified (C&G 2391 desirable).
  • Practical installation and fault-finding expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and communicate clearly across teams.
  • Committed to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver electrical projects from design to commissioning.
  • Design and install containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit, ladder).
  • Install and maintain LV distribution systems, ensuring BS 7671 compliance.
  • Act as site Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring EAWR compliance and electrical safety.
  • Carry out hands-on tasks including cable work, terminations, and testing.
  • Support fault-finding, root cause analysis, and maintenance activities.
  • Keep schematics, inspections, and risk assessments up to date.
  • Mentor junior electricians and promote a safe working environment.
