Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support engineering design input to new products and provide support to the existing product range by answering queries and providing engineering solutions
  • Sourcing suitable components and materials when required and create part numbers and bill of materials
  • Creation of engineering documentation such as specifications, proposals, assembly
  • instructions, test procedures, certification, and reports
  • Checking detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation
  • Adherence to engineering and company standards and processes
  • Site visits to other JFD offices and client assets as and when required
  • Compliance to internal and external standards & regulations

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Electrical / Electronic / Manufacturing Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical design and manufacturing of instrumentation systems
  • Experience in 2D /3D drafting (AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar)
  • Preparation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation including specifications and drawings
  • Ability to co-ordinate with cross functional teams including and design standards mechanical engineers
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in an Electrical Project Engineering role
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management system for generating and storage of engineering packages
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance essential
  • Previous diving or subsea equipment design experience would be advantageous
  • Any relevant diving qualifications would be advantageous
