Description Summary: The Electrical Project Engineer is directly responsible for ensuring accurate component specifications in the design and development of products and any other duties that would be assigned. The primary function is the design of marine DC and AC electrical systems. The secondary function is to assist with other electrical projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Focus on harness development, advanced planning and troubleshooting. • 12V DC Electrical System Layout and Design. • Create electrical harness drawings using CAD software. • Ensure marine electrical systems meet Coast Guard and ABYC requirements. • Electronics Hardware Development. • Work with vendor(s) to define requirements and system performance. Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience Required: • BS in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field. • Fluent in AutoCAD/drafting software. • Product design/requirement specification. • Experience creating technical drawings and documentation. Skills and Abilities: • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. • High attention to detail/strong analytical skills. • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and project management skills. • Autonomous, self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent facilitation skills and ability to communicate with others at all levels of the organization. Requirements Physical Requirements: • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally. • Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. • Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary. Additional Requirements: • Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR). • Must be available to work on site at Mach Connections LLC.
