We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join the Lifeline team.
Term: Full-Time, Permanent, in-person, Monday to Friday

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception through completion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and experience with SolidWorks for mechanical integration
  • Familiarity with FPGA design, quantum engineering concepts, and vision inspection systems is a plus
  • Strong understanding of NEC standards and practices related to electrical installations
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on system design and development
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) and simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to electrical components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively
  • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies in the field of electrical engineering

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components, including PCBs, SoCs, and programmable logic controllers
  • Create or review electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and grounding
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing designs
  • Perform load calculations, fault current analysis, and voltage drop studies
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for creating detailed schematics and layouts
  • Collaborate on project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks
  • Implement signal processing techniques and work with surface mount technology
  • Select and specify cables, panels, transformers, switchgear, breakers, etc. based on project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, IEC, or other applicable standards
  • Support procurement by vetting vendors and reviewing technical data sheets
  • Conduct field visits to inspect installation for code compliance and quality
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site
  • Prepare punch lists and participate in testing and commissioning
  • Engage in system design activities, including the integration of mechanical knowledge with electrical engineering principles
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including drawings, revisions, and calculations
  • Generate reports on design status, issues, or changes in scope
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and operation manuals for project handover
